Aww.
News is that I have to go to a dinner monday night anyway, so no movie for anyone. However, I do own Cinema Paradiso, so we're having a get-together thursday or friday to make up for it. Popcorn and ice cream will be eaten with gay abandon.
(That last bit was only written so I would have an excuse to use the term 'gay abandon')
By the way, my mom says we can continue the movies in the school year if I get good grades and my dad agrees, what say you?

I know you're not even in Illinois right now, but you will appreciate this in a couple days when you read it.
WE MAY HAVE A DRIVER TO INDIANAPOLIS. I REPEAT, WE MAY HAVE A DRIVER.
Of course, I have to buy his ticket and gas (and also food), and my dad may still be suspicious, but he's my sister's good friend. This is what she said in an email, and you can tell this to your parents to put their minds at ease. (Best start buttering them up, while you're at it)
"He's a good boy and if any of your friends parents wonder who he is he's a 23 year old North Central grad, with a clean driving record, who never drinks or smokes, and used to work at Washington Jr. High with the special needs kids, is training to be a high school teacher, and a long time friend of the family."
He babysat for me years ago, too, very trustworthy.
The show would be in Indianapolis on saturday the 23rd, and although we'd get back really late/early sunday, Scooter is to be trusted.

Yes, my mom will talk to you, and she can even meet Scooter if she wants. Or take my sister's, mine, and Shelby's word that he's a good kid. But I still need to coordinate this with him and make sure I can go on dad-weekend.
You're coming over tomorrow to watch Cinema Paradiso. I'll call you sometime after three, or you can call me.
